Forward Adelante Event at The Glass House Winery

We were honored to catering a networking event for Forward Adelante, Virginia's first bilingual business journal. The event was at the lovely Glass House Winery & Conservatory in Free Union, VA. The winery is surrounded by soft mountains and rolling vineyards with a unique display of tropical plants in their large greenhouse and tasting room. The night was beautiful with happy guests, Virginia wine, flamenco dancing, and keynote speakers. Chef Tony Polanco served a beautiful array of Caribbean - inspired food with a buffet, hors d'oeuvres service, and dessert. Some dishes included a polenta cake with a sun-dried tomato & bacon tapenade with chef's sauce, sweet bruschetta with a white cheddar smear & Caribbean chutney, and plantain tostones with a shrimp salsa and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar reduction. At the end of the night there were empty plates, full bellies, and lots of smiles. Thank you to the Glass House Winery and Forward Adelante, it was a pleasure.
